Field Service Technician
The qualified individual will be responsible to:
Test equipment in our facility,
Assist with the installation of equipment in customer’s facilities,
Perform complete field start-up of equipment,
Conduct training sessions with operators and maintenance personnel,
Perform assembly and repair work,
Troubleshoot equipment breakdowns over the telephone,
Interact effectively with other departments,
Resolve field problems with engineering staff,
Write precise, comprehensive, service reports,
Favorably represent Faustel to our customers,
Travel 30 to 40 percent of the time, and
Work frequent overtime. (This is an hourly paid position)
The field service technician we are looking for will have:
· A two-year degree in Electronics or B.S. degree in Electrical Technology, (or equivalent),
· Experience with A.C. and D.C. drives, and HMI’s,
· PLC programming experience,
· Familiarity with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and Project),
· Air handling, pneumatic/hydraulic experience and knowledge of web handling are a definite plus.
