Description	:	Position Description: A national pioneer in mobility retailing is embarking on their latest concept in specialty mobile retailing. As General Manager -- Retail Store Operations, this individual will be responsible for launching this brand-new retail store concept. This is an exciting concept, and requires a highly-motivated individual. The General Manager will direct and coordinate the daily activities of the store employees, including ensuring an excellent customer experience and achieving subscriber/revenue targets. Interfaces with other internal sales and marketing groups to coordinate programs and adhere to retail channel requirements. This role will also require strong relationship management with several Fortune 1000 companies. Ensures the customer has a World-Class experience by providing him/her with a complete sales solution. Develops, implements, and manages wireless sales and marketing programs for new and existing retail locations to ensure attainment of established sales growth objectives. Ensures high performance results which are in line with corporate brand standards. Responsible for all functions of the retail store including consumer and business sales, customer service, inventory control, and technical troubleshooting. Responsible for developing, implementing and monitoring policies and procedures that affects the retail operation. Analyzes and prepares sales projections, marketing, management and inventory reports for trend analysis and strategic planning purposes. Responsible for P & L for assigned location or locations, including revenue generation and operating expenses. Ensures approved merchandising plans are implemented. Maintains internal visual merchandising and in-store displays and ensures store appearance meets company standards at all times. Successfully completes and facilitates all sales and data training programs that are identified as core curriculum, to increase knowledge, create high levels of motivation, and inspire the sales team to achieve results within the assigned time period. Completes all performance reviews on time. Effectively communicates with other departments on behalf of customers or employees. Exhibits a high level of leadership presence within all aspects of the business and other internal departments. Leads and manages business events at the corporate store. Grow brand’s relationship with local business client base through follow-up contact. Develop and execute strategies for reaching out to new local businesses. Preferred Requirements •Bachelor's degree in related discipline or equivalent experience required. •Must have 3-5 years management experience in the telecommunications and/or wireless industry. •Excellent sales skills and demonstrated ability to meet or exceed performance standards. •Effective communication, presentation and interpersonal skills. •Master strategic planner with strong organizational skills and attention to detail. •Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends and holidays. •Ability to operate a personal computer and POS system, wireless equipment, copier and fax. •Passionate about SmartPhone wireless devices and have the ability to translate “techno-speak” into layman’s terms.
