DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1.Designing equipment using Autocad or Solidworks.
2.Communication w/ vendors, customers, plant personnel and multiple plant locations.
3.Working with vendors to ensure proper equipment requirements and ensuring delivery of machines/equipment to desired location at the agreed upon time.
4.Installation, troubleshooting and debugging of machinery.
5.Development of budgets and alternatives.
6.Coordination of Contractors.
7.Has the authority to place product on hold.
8.Performs other duties as assigned.
SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
1.Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering Technology related degree.
2.Strong written communication skills as demonstrated by testing, transcripts or other designated methods.
3.Solid oral communication skills.
4.Computer skills as verified by testing or transcript.
5.Ladder Logic skills.
6.Previous education/experience w/ PLCs, vision systems, wiring, a plus.
7.Exposure to and good working knowledge of: AutoCad , Microsoft Projects, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel. |
